Abele Optik has partnered with Hakuna to offer product protection in store, online shop to follow

That means that dealing with damaged, lost or stolen glasses is highly important. To better assist their customers in these situations, Abele Optik has partnered with Hakuna to extend their service offering to include all-round protection.

In-store insurance sales in a few clicks

Using Hakuna Assist, Hakuna’s web-based sales tool created specifically for use in direct customer interactions, Abele Optik opticians are able to advise customers on the best protection for what they’re buying and finalize it immediately on the sales floor.

The entire paperless process is straightforward and efficient for both Abele opticians and their customers. With the simple input of a few product details by an optician, Hakuna Assist returns the available plan(s) and price. Then, to secure the protection, all customers need to do is enter their payment details. From there, Hakuna Assist triggers payment collection and the provision of insurance documents automatically.

Flexible glasses protection for every situation

The Hakuna-powered Abele Optik Eyewear Insurance significantly reduces the financial burden for customers in the not so unlikely case of accidental damage, loss or theft and makes the repair or replacement process as easy as possible.

Customers can choose between two insurance options: one for glasses and another specifically for lenses. This provides them with coverage that aligns with their purchases. For example, a customer purchasing glasses with premium lenses and a basic frame may opt to insure only the lenses.

If something goes wrong with their protected glasses, sunglasses or lenses, customers can just return to the Abele Optik location where they originally purchased them for a quick resolution of the problem. The majority of costs will be covered by Hakuna. Plus, if the customer’s eye prescription has changed in the meantime, or if they just want to upgrade their lenses to a different quality or type, Hakuna gives them the flexibility to do so!
